PMU tattoo lips can be for anyone, it can create fullness and symmetry by adding a touch of colour - as Natural or as bold as desired. Tattooing can be taken to the very edge of the lip border which gives beautiful fullness and shape. We use a high end hand piece machine which implants pigment into the skin at the very top layers (Epidermis layers). Over time these skin layers naturally shed away, taking the pigment with it - this will create a gentle fading of the colour over time (around 1-2 years) 

The treatment for new Lips 

First session time : approximately 3 hours 

For a new set of Lips (no previous tattoo pigment) 2 sessions are needed to create the perfect finish. An initial session involving pre numbing the planned treated area, discussing pigments/colour, mapping out the Lip shape. when we are both happy - I will start the tattooing. Using one of the best hand machines the pigment is gently worked into the skin creating pixels of colour that results in a soft blush effect.

Depending on the desired results more pigment can be added. 
The lips will then need to heal for around 4 weeks.  

An appointment will be made for your next session which will involve a top up.

Second session (top up) 

Session time : approximately 1 hour 

This will just tweak any parts of the lips that may need it due to lips healing or any slightly patchy areas.

This second session usually is much shorter due to it just being a top up. 
Healing time 4 weeks 

Healing in the first 7-10 days for both sessions are vital. This is where the lips are most vulnerable. Aftercare is given and an ointment balm to apply. In these 7-10 days the lips must stay as clean as possible. Other than normal showering/bathing, avoid swimming, sauna/steam rooms and extensive exercise which will involve lots of sweating. It’s good to plan your PMU treatments well before holidays so you know they will be healed!
